2017 Cultural Alliance Partners

Each year, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival teams up with some of the city’s most vibrant arts organizations, which offer hands-on activities and demos at the festival. We’re excited to announce this year’s Cultural Alliance Partners, including:

Atlanta History Center

The Atlanta History Center once again joins the festival as a Cultural Alliance Partner. The Atlanta History Center, located on 33 acres in the heart of historic Buckhead, features award-winning exhibitions, historic houses, enchanting gardens, interactive activities and a variety of year-round adult and family programs.

The organization was founded by designer Kathleen Plate who started selling her jewelry in small boutiques in the 1990s. Her innovative work was recognized by corporations such as Coca-Cola and Aveda, who commissioned Plate to create jewelry from their product packaging.
