2013 Cultural Alliance Partners

We are very excited to announce this year’s Lead Cultural Alliance Partner, the Museum of Design Atlanta. As a Cultural Alliance Partner, MODA will be onsite during the weekend hosting a Chair Hack, a competition allowing teams to turn IKEA chair parts into anything but chairs. At the 1315 Peachtree Street location, MODA will also offer half-price admission to Atlanta Dogwood Festival visitors during festival weekend. MODA is the only museum in the Southeast devoted exclusively to the study and celebration of all things design. www.museumofdesign.org

                

The Atlanta History Center and Margaret Mitchell House unite with the Atlanta Dogwood Festival as the lead Cultural Alliance Partner.  Stop by the Atlanta History Center and Margaret Mitchell House booth for a variety of engaging history and literary activities, such as historical Travel Trunk displays, photo opportunities, a never-ending story game, enriching demonstrations, Poetry Out Loud performances, and craft-making activities.
